bubblegum

Play all week. Find out who on Friday.

01 Your bunch

Same ten faces, all week.

A bunch is you plus ten people you could fall for, Monday to Friday. Straight bunches pair ten women with ten men. Gay, lesbian, bi and queer bunches are eleven people who all play each other.

02 Every day

One small thing to play a day.

Nobody’s good at these. Today you draw your morning face, with a catch. You can’t fix it or polish it. You laugh, you send it, and the ten get the drawing you’d make with nobody watching.

03 Colors

Everyone is a color.

You see every face in your bunch, all week. What you don’t know is who made what: every answer arrives in a color, handed out at random. On Friday, you find out.

04 Friday

On Friday at 5pm, colors become people.

bubblegum counts who liked whose answers, drawings and songs. Where it goes both ways, that's a match.

05 The weekend

Then, the weekend.

Friday’s matches get a week to talk, and the weekend to meet. On Saturday and Sunday it’s a plain dating app: faces, and what each person wants to do this weekend. Like someone’s plan, and if they like you back, you pick a time and a place. Weekend chats end Sunday night, so you actually go.

06 Bunches

Pick your bunches.

Everyone nearby. Your thirties. Sober. Spanish speakers. Night shift. Or make your own. Up to three at once.

07 Your city

And your city.

An invite shows up from someone nearby: no name, just a game for two. You play your half, then you see who sent it. Anyone nearby can send you one a day.

08 Crowds

Too many people want you?

When more people want you than you can answer, they play for you, all of them the same game. You just watch who wins.

09 Questions

Good questions.

Is it free?

Yes. Joining, playing and talking are all free.

When does it start?

The first bunches start in Boston as soon as they fill up. Save your seat and you’ll hear from us when yours is ready.

Who can join?

Anyone 18 or older in or near Boston. Straight, gay, lesbian, bi or queer: every bunch is you and ten people you could fall for.

How much time does it take?

A few minutes a day, Monday to Friday. What you play is small on purpose.

What if I’m bad at this?

Everyone is. Nobody wins these. What the ten get to know is what you do with the catch.

Who sees what?

Your bunch sees your face. Your answers come in a random color, so nobody knows which ones are yours, and on Friday only your matches find out. Only people who matched can talk, and your number stays yours unless you both choose to keep going.

What if someone’s rude?

Block or report anyone, at any time. Every report gets read by a person.

What happens to my email?

We use it to tell you when your bunch starts. We’ll never sell it.
